11th, 12th, 6166th TAC Recon Reunion

The Joint Annual Reunion of the 11th and 12th Tac Recon Squadrons and the 6166th Air Weather Recon Flight will be held at the Holiday Inn Oakbrook Terrace, in DuPage County just west of Chicago, from September 30 to October 3, 2010.

A block of hotel rooms has been set aside for attendees at the best negotiated price. We have planned a DuPage County Day and a Chicago City Day, with guided motorcoach tours of the respective city and county attractions, including the Morton Arboretum, Colonel McCormick's mansion and 1st Division Museum at his Cantigny estate, a Chicago River Architectural Tour and a cruise along the Lake Michigan skyline, and a dinner theater presentation of the jazz musical Hot Mikado at the Drury Lane Theater.

As usual, our last evening together will end with our annual cocktail party and banquet, and there will be ample time to reminisce and tell our favorite "There I Wuz" stories, which somehow seem to get better every year.
